How to maintain the CNC system of the CNC gantry machining center? What to pay attention to
Date of issue: 2023-05-11
The CNC gantry machining center adopts high-quality Mihanna castings, which are annealed to eliminate internal stress. The bed structure is optimized, and the mechanical kinetic energy rigidity is good. The bed and herringbone column are made of reinforced and tightly baked castings, which have priority stability and good shock absorption characteristics even under heavy cutting conditions. The work is supported by an overall saddle without any suspension, and the base is designed like a guide rail, ensuring long-term rigidity and accuracy, The guide rail undergoes induction hardening heat treatment and precision grinding, with plastic coated guide rail and strong lubrication to reduce surface grinding and reduce wear.
Maintenance of CNC System for CNC Gantry Machining Center
1. Strictly adhere to operating procedures and daily maintenance systems
Operators must strictly abide by operating procedures and daily maintenance systems, and the quality of their technical and professional skills is an important factor affecting the frequency of faults. When the machine tool malfunctions, the operator should pay attention to keeping the scene and truthfully explain the situation before and after the malfunction to the maintenance personnel, in order to analyze and diagnose the cause of the malfunction and eliminate it in a timely manner.
2. Prevent dust and dirt from entering the interior of the CNC device
In the air of the machining workshop, there is generally oil mist, dust, and even metal powder. Once they fall on the circuit board or electronic device in the CNC system, it is easy to cause a decrease in insulation resistance between components, and even damage to components and circuit boards. Some users choose to open the door of the CNC cabinet to dissipate heat during the summer in order to ensure that the CNC system can work overload for a long time. This is a highly undesirable method, and it will eventually lead to accelerated damage to the CNC system. Therefore, it is necessary to minimize the opening of the doors of the CNC cabinet and the strong current cabinet.
3. Prevent system overheating
Check whether the cooling fans on the NC cabinet work normally. Check the air duct filter every six months or every quarter for any blockage. If there is too much dust accumulation on the filter screen and it is not cleaned in a timely manner, it can cause the temperature inside the CNC cabinet to be too high.
4. Regular inspection and replacement of DC motor brushes
Excessive wear of DC motor brushes can affect the performance of the motor and even cause damage to the motor. For this reason, regular inspection and replacement of motor brushes should be carried out. CNC lathes, CNC milling machines, machining centers, etc. should be inspected once a year.
The CNC gantry machining center greatly reduces the time for workpiece clamping, measurement, and auxiliary processes such as machine tool adjustment. It has complex machining shapes, high precision requirements, and frequent variety replacement of parts, which have good economic effects. The machining center with the axis perpendicular to the workbench is mainly suitable for processing complex parts such as plates, discs, molds, and small shells.
