How to choose a processing center manufacturer, and how much is the cost per processing center
Date of issue: 2023-05-12
Many customers and friends often have such questions, how is the processing center of XXX manufacturer? How does the processing center of XXX family compare to your Chenghai? Is your processing center more expensive than XXX manufacturer's for the same model? Friends who have questions about these issues have a deep understanding of the processing center manufacturer and have had a comprehensive comparison. Regarding the issue of processing manufacturers, the editor has this opinion.
Xiao Bian believes that the quality of domestic machining center manufacturers is the same, except for the import of large brands of foreign machining centers (such as FANUC, Haas and Demaj). Because currently, powerful processing center manufacturers are customized according to the actual needs of customers. For example, if you usually need to process large workpiece molds with a relatively large processing stroke, the manufacturer can provide you with optical and mechanical equipment with a processing stroke of 1060 or more; If you usually process workpieces with high complexity and programming complexity, you can configure FANUC, Siemens and other high configuration CNC systems; If you pay attention to the efficiency of processing orders, the speed of tool changes, and the stability of processing, we can provide you with disk tool libraries and robotic tool libraries. It can be said that there is no quality advantage or disadvantage in the machining center itself, and the performance difference is reflected in the configuration required by customers. If Factory A purchases a high-end machining center customized by a manufacturer in Shandong, while Factory B purchases processing center equipment from a manufacturer in Shenzhen with average performance and low processing demand. It is not objective to say that Shandong processing center manufacturers have better equipment quality than Shenzhen processing center manufacturers.
Based on the above conclusion, we can conclude that there is no fixed quotation for the machining center, and the same VMc650 machining center can have a price difference of tens of thousands of different complete machines for a single CNC system. To obtain an accurate quotation from the machining center manufacturer, one should first clarify the configuration they want, as there are three main aspects that affect the price of the core components in the machining center.
One is the optical machine: the optical machine is the most important component of the machining center, and this configuration determines the machining stroke of your machining center, which is how large the workpiece can be processed. It is the most important part to consider when selecting a machining center, and this part accounts for more than 30% of the price of the entire machining center.
The second is the CNC system: The CNC system is the core of the machining center, equivalent to the brain of the machining center, and is the most technologically advanced part of the entire equipment. For a long time, CNC systems have relied on imports. Fortunately, in recent years, China's CNC technology has been continuously developing and improving. Domestic CNC systems can also meet the current programming needs of machining centers, such as the Kandi system and the Huazhong system, which have the characteristics of user-friendly interface, convenient operation, and meeting high-precision machining, making them the best choice for pursuing cost-effectiveness.
The third is the tool library: the arm type tool library and the bamboo hat type tool library are the two most common tool forms in current machining centers. Generally, there is no distinction between advantages and disadvantages, but the selected tool types vary depending on the machining environment. If it is necessary to compare the advantages and disadvantages, the arm type tool magazine is a chain shaped spindle with an S-shaped robotic arm. When a tool change is needed, the chain type tool magazine is turned to the desired tool number, and then the robotic arm rotates to complete the tool change. The entire process is fast and there will be no knife squeezing phenomenon. The stability is better than that of a bamboo hat style knife magazine. Of course, the price is also more expensive than the bamboo hat style knife library.
