Requirements for installation environment of gantry machining center
Date of issue: 2023-05-11
The gantry machining center refers to a machining center set perpendicular to the Z-axis of the main shaft and the workbench. The overall structure is a large machining center machine with a gantry structure frame composed of double columns and top beams, with a crossbeam in the middle of the double columns. Especially suitable for processing large and complex shaped workpieces, what are the requirements for the installation environment during installation? Let's take a look together!
1. Requirements for selecting the foundation of the gantry machining center:
According to the foundation installation diagram, select an appropriate space for installing the gantry machining center. The stability of the installation foundation should not have a negative impact on the accuracy of the machine tool. However, to prevent the vibration of other mechanical devices from affecting the machine tool through the ground, the foundation should have absolute stability and isolation.
2. When laying the foundation for the gantry machining center, the following points should be considered:
(1) For the convenience of maintenance and inspection, appropriate space should be reserved next to the installation position of the machine tool.
(2) In order to install and maintain the gantry machining center, there should be at least 500mm of space between the top of the machine tool and the crane.
(3) Sufficient space should be provided to loosen and clamp the workpiece.
(4) When installing the gantry machining center, there should be enough space to move and install the machine tool.
3. The foundation installation of the gantry processing center should meet the following requirements:
(1) Concrete should not have cracks.
(2) The low pressure strength of concrete is 1800 Newton per square centimeter, and the tensile strength is 180 Newton per square centimeter.
(3) The bearing strength of the ground should be greater than 5 tons per square meter.
(4) Shockproof materials should be added around the concrete.
